Archerade – Montague Torc Choker
The torc has Celtic origins, and I'm in love with the open-collared style, and the way it can be easily layered with other necklaces. One thing - it will twist/spin a bit around your neck, especially in the winter if you are wearing a scarf. There is nothing to be done about this - your body moves, and so will your jewellery!
You should be able to just slide it onto your neck, but it is slightly adjustable. Please keep in mind that it shouldn't be pulled too roughly, or past the point of tension, or it will lose its shape. This piece is solid sterling silver - the long middle section that curves around your neck is solid, round sterling wire. The two identical ends are carved in wax, and then cast in sterling as well. The details have been oxidized for contrast and depth.
